Holistic Nutrition: Understanding the deep relationship we have with food

As a holistic nutrition coach, my work encompasses preparing meal plans and recommending dietary changes but goes beyond by looking deeply into the intricate connection between emotions, eating habits and our individual food choices.


Integrating eating psychology into nutritional coaching allows for an empathetic approach, delving into personal history and food story, acknowledging and addressing underlying emotional factors, identifying past failures and successes.


According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary the literal definition of Holistic is: relating to or concerned with wholes or with complete systems rather than with the individual parts. holistic medicine attempts to treat both the mind and the body.


As the definition implies the Holistic Nutrition Coach approach sees the person as whole. It is only by understanding that it isn't solely about what's on our plate; it's about understanding the psyche behind what we eat and how we eat.


This is how we can guide people toward healthier eating habits and ultimately a healthier life.I assist clients in cultivating mindful eating practices, fostering self-awareness, and promoting a positive body image.
