Their is no way around it, your Eating Habits Impact your Performance

Tip #1 - Behave like an top level Athlete
In the fast paced environment that the corporate world demands, more times than not, we are grabbing fast meals or skipping meals altogether. But if you were a high level athlete in training would you skip a meal? The answer is No you wouldn’t. You would know that without good nutrition you would never win the race! So Dear Executive eat like the Competitive Athlete and Improve your brain Performance.
Tip #2 - A leader plans ahead
Executives have demanding schedules. A typical day is very high-pressure, filled with long hours, meetings, travel, important decisions, and time constraints. Trying to balance work and personal life doesn’t leave room for much more. And unless we are really well organized - which less face it, is hard - all of these factors influence dietary choices and eating habits.
The most common error I see is skipping lunch! Carve out a minimum of 20 minutes a day to eat lunch and Put it in your Schedule.
"Over the past 40 years, several lines of investigation have shown that the chemistry and function of the brain are influenced by diet." – John D.Fernstrom. The American Jornal of Clinical Nutrition.
Tip #3 - Brains get hungry too
If we skip lunch we will most likely hit the afternoon really hungry, we will have low mood and low energy. These are the times when we will crave high sugar and high carb snacks and or caffeine to keep us going. Ultimately our body will be running on empty or on very poor nutrients and we will start to get tired, agitated or lethargic and the potential effects of these dietary habits are poor cognitive function, low efficiency and overall less productivity.
